Background Statement

American Compliance Services, LLC (ACS) is a single member Limited Liability Company (LLC) formed as such in 2003 by Ms. Wendy Plank.   ACS is certified as a Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Supplier Clearinghouse for the Utility Supplier Diversity Program of the California Public Utilities Commission (# VON: 7AN00004).  We specialize in the areas of OSHA compliance and support safety management in both construction and manufacturing industries.  ACS offers the responsiveness of a local firm, including highly trained specialists, certified and accredited laboratories, and technologically advanced equipment.  ACS offers safety and environmental consulting services in the following areas:

      Asbestos AHERA / NESHAP inspections, lead surveys, asbestos and lead project design, monitoring, and oversight   We can provide project specifications and support throughout the hazardous material portion of the project. 

      Air Monitoring and Final Clearance services for asbestos and lead modernization / demolition projects.

      OSHA Compliance Assistance.

      Lead Risk Assessment and Management.

      Noise Monitoring for OSHA , residential and ADA requirements.

      Exposure assessments and air monitoring of chemicals used in the field or in an industrial process.

ACS has the specialized experience necessary for project success, including a strong understanding of California regulatory requirements, project management experience on asbestos and lead abatement projects at multiple school facilities simultaneously, and extensive consulting experience in construction and manufacturing environments.  ACS has completed an extensive number of diverse consulting projects in California, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Nevada, and Virginia. 

American Compliance Services, LLC, is owned and operated by Ms. Wendy J. Plank, a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) and DHS Certified Lead Professional.  She will be directly responsible for all projects and is fully committed to meeting customer requirements.
